Instructions:
Information on this start page will support EDN 506 OTAWiki users to create contributed Web 2.0 Activity Descriptions as MediaWiki pages.
Directly below are some "step by step" instructions for creating an "Educational Internet Resource" entry on OTAWiki. This task is a project-based assignment (Project 2) in EDN 560
Creating a New OTAWiki Web 2.0 Learning Activity Entry
(1) Copy the "template" categories (given below these instructions).
(2) Decide on a name for your new MediaWiki page and type the name into the "Find" box, on the upper left corner of this page.
(3) Click "Go" to discover if someone else has already used your page name. If no one has already used it, you'll get an option to "create a new page."
(4) Past the copied "template" into the editor window for your new record.
(5) Fill in the information about your new Web 2.0 Learning Activity, try it out by clicking the "Show Preview" button (below), and when it looks right remember to click "Save page".
(6) Congratulations! You've added your new OTAWiki Web 2.0 Learning Activity Entry.
