Commentary:

It is called Virtual Trader, although it may have been created for university students in the UK I think it could be adopted for use in an online high school course here. Opening an account looks fairly simple and does not appear to require any real money or credit card information. I think students are provided with the equivalent of 1000 euros to start a portfolio and then track how their picks perform. It seems like a great way to practice investing strategies and apply research. I'm not big on using some of these online games created by companies that might eventually solicit students however it seems like it might be easier to use than "The Stock Market Game" in an online course.
